Current Classes

Summer Term: May 6th - August 28
Gateway Academy of Classical Art offers training in classical drawing and painting. GACA’s classes are open to all skills levels—beginner to advanced. Weekly classes are taught by lead instructor, B. J. Parker.

Classes are designed to meet students where they are, and to methodically build drawing and oil paint-handling skills needed to make beautiful and compelling paintings and drawings.

GACA classes frequently include art history lectures, topical art discussions, and field studies at the St. Louis Art Museum.  Regular students may attend additional GACA evening open studio figure drawing events at no extra charge, when available.

To enroll in weekly classes, please contact B. J. Parker at (678) 378-5470 or bjparkerfineart@gmail.com

All class sessions take place in the Pierce Arrow Building (suite #322) in the Central West End,
